Gardening in Florida

One of the biggest Barbie Pink guavas we ever harvested from our tree!! No stinking hits from the Caribbean fruit bastard fly either! We think this may be directly related to neem oil treatments we do monthly. This baby smells so delicious! As soon as we come in the house it can be smelled from all the way in the kitchen. #barbiepinkguava #gardeningfl #tropicalfruit #tropicalfruittrees #neemoil #growingfruit

Back with a Spring Tour

pineapple
Pineapple!
I know we have been quiet for a while. We try to post on Instagram and Facebook but have been very lax with posting videos. In fact, although it is July, I am just now posting our April tour. I figure some of you might be interested. I will endeavor to post more frequently.

Thanks for your patience!

  • Velvet beans are really popping out! We never tried these before but understand they are called stinging velvet beans as the cute furry hairs you see are stingers and can cause a maddening itch! The medicinal values of this bean are many like it lowers blood pressure, fixes blood sugar, libido enhancer!! Also a nitrogen fixer!Just what out for the stinging hairs!!!!#donttouchyhehairs#velvetbeans#gardeningfl #boostthelovedrive#nitrogenfixer#dontpetme
